On October 8th, 2013, the Governing Board of the Golder Ranch Fire District voted to dissolve the Foothills Annexation. Over the last several months, we have spoken to residents and property owners in the proposed annexation area, attending HOA and community meetings, encouraging all to become educated on the fire and emergency medical service in the Catalina Foothills community.
Many people we spoke with expressed satisfaction with the current organization, whose ability to provide service in the future has since become uncertain. While this annexation may have been dissolved, there are still options and opportunities available to solidify fire and emergency medical protection with an established public provider.
From the outset, our mission was to provide education to you and your neighbors, and we feel have been successful. If we can ever be of any assistance or there are questions still unanswered, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.
