As an all-hazards, full service fire and emergency medical service provider, Golder Ranch offers a wide variety of emergency response capabilities. Aside from the fire engines and ambulances that most are familiar with, Golder Ranch places mobile water supply trucks, or Water Tenders, strategically throughout the District to assist firefighting activities in areas with poor hydrant coverage.
Golder Ranch also maintains special operations teams in the areas of Hazardous Materials, Technical Rescue, and Wildland Firefighting. Personnel in these areas of expertise receive additional training and attend monthly drills to maintain skill proficiency.
The Golder Ranch Fire District is recruiting for our next class of Explorers. Explorer Post 216 is an opportunity for young men and women, 15 - 20 years old, to gain first hand experience in the fire service and public safety. The application period will be open from April 5th through May 3rd. Follow this link for more information!
